2010 Arkansas PTA Summer Leadership
We had a GREAT time at Summer Leadership. We hope you went home with a lot of information and resources to help your units.
ATTENTION PTA PRESIDENTS AND MEMBERSHIP CHAIRS
2010-2011 Membership cards are included in the AR PTA Kit of Tools packet for your unit. Kit of Tools were distributed at Summer Leadership Training. If your PTA board did not attend training, the Kit of Tools, containing handbooks and other resources for your PTA unit, has been delivered to your school. Membership dues for the cards issued in the Kit of Tools must be submitted prior to requesting additional cards.
Arkansas PTA is always in need of qualified volunteers to lead and serve PTA. Elections are held in odd numbered years at the annual Arkansas PTA Convention. Officers and board members are expected to attend three (3) regular Board of Managers meetings and have the ability to represent ALL members.
OFFICER POSITIONS: President-Elect, Vice President of Leadership, Vice President of Legislation, Vice President of Membership, Secretary or Treasurer *Nominee MUST have served on the Arkansas PTA Board of Managers before taking office. |
REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENTS &FIELD SERVICE REPS Central Region, Northeast Region, Northwest Region, Southeast Region, Southwest Region, West Region * Vice President nominee must have served as a local unit or council leader. Field Rep nominee will be elected at annual region meeting |
COMMITTEE CHAIRS: Bulletin, Bylaws, Education, Extension/Unit Recruitment, Health & Safety, Parent Involvement, Public Relations, Reflections, Technology * Committee chairs are selected to serve a two (2) year term. |
