  • Interpretation: How closely the piece relates to the theme, based on the artwork itself and the artist statement.
  • Creativity: How creative and original the piece is in its conception of the theme and its presentation.

Reflections Arts Competition

With the announcement of National winners for the 2019-2020 theme ,”Look Within”, we are at the end of another creative year of Reflections from our Arkansas students.  Congratulations to all the Arkansas State winners, as well as our five national winners.  Arkansas State PTA is extremely proud of the work reflected in the over 700 student entries on the state level this year.

The medals and certificates that were to be awarded in April at the Reflections Luncheon have been forwarded to local councils.  Most of the awards have been delivered to the students by those councils, with the remainder scheduled to be delivered soon. Reflections chairs, local and council presidents, and teachers and parents who have encouraged the students throughout the year and done so much on their behalf are much appreciated for the time and effort they have invested!

FORMS, RESOURCES, AND RULES FOR SUBMISSION links on this page are under revision at the present time to reflect the 2020-2021 theme “I Matter Because…”  We are looking forward with great anticipation to see how our talented students across Arkansas express themselves with the new theme!
