WHY PRESENT AN HONORARY LIFE MEMBERSHIP AWARD?

The Arkansas PTA Life Membership is an honorary membership that is presented in recognition of outstanding and faithful service performed in the interest and welfare of children and youth. The recipient need not be a member of a
PTA; he/she could be a teacher, administrator, board of education member, crossing guard, community member, parent, any person who has given outstanding services to children and youth.
MAY LOST PINS BE REORDERED?
Yes. A replacement pin may be ordered through the State PTA office. The cost for a replacement pin is $25.
WHAT ARE THE PRIVILEGES?
Although Life Membership does not carry voting privileges, it does give the recipient guest privileges at the Annual Convention upon payment of the registration fee. The recipient may become an active voting member through payment of dues to a local unit. A PTA may choose to honor the recipient in other ways by providing “special” benefits.
